Dedem wants full control !
With over 1000 photo-booths installed Dedem is the biggest operator of Photo booths in Italy and one of the biggest in the world. Most of the studios installed in Italy are (happily) entirely based on electronics made by DPS-Promatic. Thanks to DPS-Promatic custom electronics Dedem technicians can program and download data from the studios via remote controls linked via a infrared interface, without even opening them. Dedem has now asked DPS-Promatic to develop a monitoring system based on the TCS 2.0 board to telecontrol the studios. This system will be working with SMS messages. Whenever the studio will be out of order it will send a message to a central computer that will route it to the technician assigned to that machine. If the problem will not be fixed within a defined period of time, another message will be sent to the supervisor, who will evaluate the options. Dedem thinks that with this system it will be possible to optimize the operation providing a better service to the customers. Vending machines remote controls is another smart application of the DPS-Promatic Telecom Control Systems. |
