AWX setup instructions
Fix the pole in the ground hitting it with a hammer or fixing it with cement or whatever way you prefer. Make sure it is leveled and straight.
Install the Solar Panel and turn it towards SOUTH
Fix the wire of the solar panel in the lower part of the panel, so the rain will not follow the wire and enter the solar panel connector box.
Assemble the station frame, fixing the part that holds the rain collector to the part that holds the electronics container.
Use the provided U fixings to fix the assembled frame to the pole.
Mount the anemometer pole into the plastic holder and make sure the wure exits downwards as shown in the picture.
Install the wind direction unit to the main anemometer body and tighten it with the allen key provided. Do not tighten too much, as the screw might break the plastics.
Install the wind speed unit to the main anemometer body and tighten it with the allen key provided. Do not tighten too much, as the screw might break the plastics.
Install the holder of SUN radiation sensor (and, if required, Leaf sensor) as shown in picture. This sensor can be leveled for optimum performance, thanks to the bubble level indicator and 3 screws with springs.
Cut the cable ties that prevent the rain collector spoon from moving.
Remove the SIM from its holder, if any. Make sure not to break the micro and nano separations, because if they move, the SIM could not work vell and it would not touch the contacts. IMPORTANT: REMOVE THE PIN REQUESt FROM the SIM.
